A mysterious old farmer named George has reluctantly left you to tend to his farm. You aren’t very well versed in the work and life of a farmer, but you’ll be able to figure it out fairly quickly with the help of Tessa Townsend’s timely tutorials.
Welcome to a picturesque farm in a sunny and colorful world! This is the happy universe that you will encounter in Goodgame Big Farm, the browser based farm simulation by the guys and girls over at Goodgame Studios (Empire: Four Kingdoms). The farm that you will be responsible for isn’t in the best shape since George left, so you’ve got your work cut out for you. Luckily you have plenty of neighbors, family, friends, and business skills to help you along the way. All that’s left is to learn how to tactfully utilize your tremendous tracts of land.
As you can imagine this involves quite a bit of farming, that is to say that you will be planting plenty of crops, harvesting them, and selling them for a profit. You’ll also have to raise animals for similar purposes and generally just keep your farm running as efficiently as possible. As mentioned earlier, you won’t be all on your own to revitalize George’s old farm. In addition to your neighbors, family, and friends, you have farmhands that will work for you, but don’t just blindly send them off to do menial tasks. Your farmhands have plenty of experience in farming themselves, so they know how to tend to the land and will want to work as efficiently as possible to increase your profits and therefore their own.
Keep your workers in a good mood as their productivity will only get better, which will of course spill over into the overall profitability of your farm. Keep everything in good balance and you will be able to succeed in the Big Farm competitions that come up and help out any and all of your friends that decide to play too. Goodgame Big Farm lets you cooperate with other players. Even when you think you’ve done everything you can to make your farm the best there is, you can have a look at other players' farms, chat with them, and even trade to take it to the next level.
